It was January 2017 and I had just left the Mr Car Wash on Voss Road. The young man working on my car was unable to use his right hand. It was all curled up and almost closed. First of all, he found a $20 bill on the back floorboard and showed it to me. I thanked him and picked it up to put in my purse. Immediately I felt the Spirit of God impress upon me to give it to the young man so I did. The guy worked on my car and I was praying silently for his hand. I thought that would suffice because I knew I needed/wanted to pray for him. Then I felt the feeling inside of me that said, "Be bold. Lay hands on him. Go ask him if you can pray for him." I told the Lord He could heal that boy without me laying hands on him. The Spirit of God kept saying. “Go lay hands on him and pray for him.” I started to get my nerve up a couple of times and then he walked away.
God spoke loudly and said, "Go get him!" I walked over to him and said, "May I ask you a question? Have you ever asked the Lord to heal your hand?" Hey, not the best approach but I was nervous!!!!!
In his broken English he held out both arms and said, "Accident." I could see that one arm was substantially smaller than the other one as in no muscle tone. I asked him if it would be okay with him if I prayed for him. He agreed.
I held his arm and his hand as he held it in front of me and prayed, Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ I command this hand to operate in the manner in which God created it. I give Jesus all praise and honor for healing him. In Jesus Holy Name I pray. Amen”
Another gal working on a nearby car heard me and she said, "Amen."
I said to him, begin to move your fingers. He began to open his fingers one at a time and then he began to open and close his hand. He looked sooo surprised! I was too!!!!! I walked to my car in total tears and sat there and thanked Jesus for healing His son.
The young man walked over to me and said, "Thank you." I said, "Don't thank me, thank Jesu Cristo." He looked up to Heaven and said, "Thank you, Jesu Cristo!"
As I drove away I prayed some more for that guy and thanked the Lord for showing Himself so faithful and powerful!!!
I just pray that this testimony will encourage each of you to step out of your comfort zone and do that which the Spirit of God is calling you to do. Remember, Jesus is the ONE who brings the healing so all of the responsibility is off of you. However, you may just be the vessel He uses. Are you willing?
